For pick and place applications handling non-porous materials, or vessel evacuation applications such as wood and composite clamping, the Air Saver pumps will maintain a strong holding force, conserve compressed air, and hold the part even if the compressed air supply is interrupted providing an extra level of safety when handling large loads.
Air Saver pumps maintain vacuum for long periods of time and only consume compressed air to overcome system leaks resulting in 90% air savings.

How to Order Content

The model number for the VP Air Saver Series Venturi Vacuum Pumps consists of the base model acronym (VP20 or VP80) plus four alphanumeric clusters. These clusters designate the flow and vacuum levels, operating pressure, and the trailing -AS cluster indicating the Air Saver Technology model. Refer to the chart below for an example of model number VP20-100H-AS . This is a VP20-AS pump with a maximum vacuum flow of 100, maximum vacuum level of 28"Hg [948mbar], and operating pressure of 80 PSI*. Both the mid and max Air Saver pumps come standard with silencers, there are no further options. Note, part numbers beginning with I- denote a model with G port metric threads.

* The operating pressure of 80 PSI is standard, and the 80 designation does not appear in the part number
