Flat-II® Non-Rotating

Flat-II® cylinders are ideal in applications where rotation is prohibited and space is minimal. Non-rotation is achieved using dual piston rods and a rod end block that ensures the rods work in tandem.  The Flat-II® eliminates the need for external alignment devices, such as guides, rods, and alignment posts or pins.

  • Bore sizes:  3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2"
  • 304 stainless steel body prevents corrosion
  • Standard oil impregnated bronze rod bushing
  • Stainless piston rod
  • Precision machined anodized aluminum heads
  • Maximum Pressure:  200 PSI (air only)

Common Cylinder Design Modifications
This table shows common modifications to our standard designs which have been provided to customers. Please contact your local distributor for information on pricing and delivery for these special options.
Feature Common Modifications From Standard Model
Rod
  • Longer than standard thread lengths
  • Turned down rod diameter; no threads
  • Extra rod extension on one end only of a double rod end cylinder (-DXDE)
  • Cross-drilled hole in the cylinder rod
  • Rod threads omitted where a standard NT option does not exist
  • Spherical rod end (no tolerance)
  • Female threads on the standard existing rod diameter
  • Screwdriver slot on rod end
  • Non-standard male rod threads that fit on the standard existing rod diameter
  • Omit wrench flats where they do not currently exist
  • 5/16" bore, single acting/non-rotating
  • Non-rotating, DXDE design (square rod on one end)
Body
  • Customer logo applied to the cylinder body
  • Omit Bimba logo
  • Mark the customer's part number on the cylinder body

  • Greater than catalog maximum stroke lengths
