Round Line (The original round body cylinder that can be used in a wide variety of industries and applications.)
Bimba's non-repairable stainless steel body cylinders are available in 12 bore sizes.

NFPA (Heavy duty, repairable cylinders that meet NFPA standards.)
TRD’s TA series cylinders offer a high quality, heavy duty construction in an NFPA tie rod style interchangeable design. These actuators are recognized for their durability and long-lasting performance.
TRD's TAS series steel cylinders and components provide extra strength and durability to withstand abuse while maintaining reliable performance.
TRD's TD series (“Tough-Duty”) cylinders provide the same high quality, heavy duty construction as the TA series, with additional performance features standard.
TRD's FM “Flush Mount” series provides the same high quality, heavy duty construction as the TA series, with the added benefit of “sleeve nut” construction.
TRD's FM series rod lock cylinders utilize a 100% ball bearing design that distributes even locking (clamp-holding) forces along the shaft, providing low fatigue on clamping components and no appreciable wear on the piston rod.
TRD's Back-to-Back cylinders allow the creation of a true four position cylinder by combining two individual cylinders with common bore sizes together as one unit with common tie rods.
TRD’s 3-Position cylinders consist of two cylinders built as one unit with one rod end, capable of producing three rod positions. By varying the cylinder stroke lengths, stop positions can be suited to any application.
TRD’s tandem cylinders are most commonly used in “air over oil” applications, using air to provide the force to extend and retract the cylinder, and oil to provide precise stroke speed control.
TRD’s TRA series (“Triple Rod”) cylinders use three piston rods to increase stability and strength and also feature a non-rotating design.
TRD’s MS series multi-stage cylinders are able to achieve greater forces in extending, retracting, or both directions by multiplying the output force with additional pistons.
TRD’s SS series cylinders are precision machined from 303/304 stainless steel to provide excellent performance in harsh environments. Common applications include food processing, chemical, medical, pharmaceutical, and other corrosive environments.
TRD's SS series cylinders can be turned into non-rotating cylinders when the “NR” option is chosen.
TRD's SS-MS series cylinders are double acting, single rod end cylinders that multiply the cylinder's force output by supplying air to multiple pistons.
TRD’s TC series cylinders utilize a two-stage telescoping design which remains 100% double acting while providing incredible space savings. A telescoping cylinder with 12” stroke would require 35% less space than an equivalent bore NFPA cylinder.

Mead's Dyna-Mation DM1 series cylinders feature a tie-rod NFPA design that generates high performance in most applications.

The Bimba ET series extruded linear thruster is a rugged, guided actuator with a cylinder integral to the thruster block.
Bimba's T series thrusters incorporate case hardened steel guide shafts, shaft collars, precision recirculating ball bearings, and a steel tooling plate.
Bimba's TE series thrusters include stainless steel guide shafts, clear anodized aluminum housing and tooling plate, and composite bearings.
Bimba’s multiple position linear thrusters incorporate a double-acting single rod end cylinder that provides an intermediate position in addition to fully extended and fully retracted.
Bimba's TME and TEMH series thrusters feature re-circulating ball bearings or composite bearings riding on precision ground guide shafts available made of case hardened steel or stainless steel.
Available in bore sizes 2" and larger, Bimba's T4 series thruster offers the smooth actuation of the “T” series thrusters, while delivering twice the static load-carrying capability.
Bimba's PneuMoment® pneumatic actuator provides smooth, guided, non-rotational motion for carrying heavy loads and larger moments.
Rodless (Linear motion within half the length of rod style actuators.)
Special rare earth magnet configuration for high magnetic coupling strengths make the Ultran® high load slides unique from the original series.
The Bimba Ultran® Rodless cylinder provides one of the highest coupling strengths available.
The Bimba Ultran® Rodless Slide has two types; UGS-Ultran® Slide, Gold coupling strength and USS-Ultran® Slide, Silver coupling strength.
The Bimba Ultran® Band is a mechanically coupled rodless cylinder providing overall savings in excess of 40% versus traditional cylinders.
Rotary (Rotational motion solutions for commercial and industrial applications.)
Pneu-Turn® rack and pinion rotary actuators can be used in a wide variety of rotary applications, including clamping, camming, indexing, and mixing.
Pneu-Turn® 3-Position rotary actuators provide three positions within one actuator.
Position feedback Pneu-Turn® rotary actuators are available in single or double rack models.
Position Control (Continuous position sensing and control for measurement and positioning applications.)
Bimba's PFC series offer economical position feedback cylinders for closed-loop positioning and accurate measuring using an internal Linear Resistive Transducer (LRT).
Bimba's PFCN series cylinders are ideal for closed-loop positioning and accurate measuring. They use a non-contact calibrated internal magnetostrictive transducer that provides accuracy within ± 0.012” at any point along the stroke.
Bimba's PFCL series feature everything from the PFC series cylinders, with an additional rod lock.
Bimba's PFCNL series feature non-contact position feedback cylinders with rod locks.
TRD's PFLF series feature position feedback, low friction cylinders that meet NFPA tie-rod standards.
The Digital Panel Meter (DPM) is used in conjunction with a Bimba Position Feedback Cylinder to perform accurate measuring and/or gauging operations. Output can be displayed in either inches or millimeters.
Bimba Electronic Controllers provide 10VDC regulated power to our Position Feedback Actuators. Use it when a fast responding scalable analog output signal is required.
The Bimba Position Control System (PCS) is designed to be used with any pneumatic Bimba Position Feedback Actuator, reciprocating or rotary, to provide closed-loop positioning.
Balluff’s internal transducers are available for use with TRD's TA, TD, FM and SS series NFPA cylinders.
Balluff’s external transducers can be used with TRD's TA, TD, TRA, FM, SS, MSE or MSR, Tandem, 3-Position, and double rod end NFPA cylinders.
Balluff’s Strokemaster® cylinder-position sensors provide precision end-of-stroke sensing for hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders.
Induction sensor cable connectors are available for use with Balluff transducers.
Accessories (Product accessories including switches, fittings, brackets, nuts, shock absorbers and more.)
Solid state switches are recommended for low current DC loads such as interfacing with a programmable controller, and can be used on cylinders with up to a 3" bore.
Designed for our inch based pneumatic cylinders, heavy duty reed switches feature a heavy duty band mount that is used on inch and metric cylinders with bore sizes up to 3" and come in a variety of models and operating voltages.
High illumination switches feature a larger LED lit area that can be seen further away than other switches, and is available for use with cylinders with up to 5" bores.
This mounting band is available for use with High Illumination band mounted switches.
CS-6100 series switches are available in sinking, sourcing, or reed model type and compatible with Mead Centaur cylinders.

Switch brackets are available for mounting TRD switches to the actuators.
CS-6200 series switches are available as sourcing, sinking, or reed, and can be used with Mead DM1 and HD1 tie-rod cylinders.
HC/HK solid state switches are available as sourcing or sinking, have an operating voltage range of 4.5 to 30VDC, and have two track mounts to choose from.
Mini Round switches are available in sourcing, sinking, reed, or auto configure and fit in a 2.5mm track that mounts to a variety of Bimba actuators.
Designed for our inch based pneumatic cylinders, this switch features a heavy duty switch track mount and is compatible with inch and metric cylinders with up to a 3" bore.
This switch fits in a 5mm square track and is available in three different models with operating voltages ranging from 5 to 240V AC or DC, and is compatible with the Ultran® Band cylinder.
CS-7500 series solid state and reed switches are available for use with Mead DM2 series cylinders.
PCQ series proximity switches are end of stroke switches used with Ultran® rodless cylinders.
Quick connect cables are compatible with all Bimba actuators with the "Q" option.
PCS quick connect cables are for use with the Bimba Position Control System, and come in many different options.
