New Bimba Air Reservoirs Include Manifolds and Corrosion Resistant Designs
University Park, IL – March 21, 2013 – Bimba Manufacturing announced today the addition of three new series of air reservoirs to complement the existing Original Line® design. The models in this line have been equipped with stainless steel and Delrin® end caps to provide a solution for working in corrosive environments. The new stainless steel end cap models are available in 7 bore sizes and can be ordered in lengths up to 50 inches, while the Delrin® end cap models are available in 5 bore sizes and lengths up to 50 inches.
Additionally, a new design that utilizes an extruded aluminum body is being brought to market for customers who wish to use the reservoir as a manifold. These new models can be configured to include additional ports along the length of the extruded body. The extruded body design is available in 5 bore sizes and lengths up to 11 inches long.
Both the traditional reservoir style and the new manifold style provide additional air volume to pneumatic circuits that may be adversely affected by inconsistent compressed air supply.
“We are pleased to be able to offer customers an extruded body style reservoir that can serve a dual purpose as a manifold. In addition, it further expands our line of corrosion resistant products to include reservoir designs. These corrosion resistant reservoirs are ideal for customers in the food and beverage and packaging industries where machine wash down is common,” said Jerry Scherzinger, Product Marketing Manager for Bimba.
