Bimba Announces Acquisition of Mead Fluid Dynamics, Inc.

Monee, IL - September 25, 2007 - Bimba Manufacturing Company announced today the completion of its acquisition of Mead Fluid Dynamics, Inc., headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Mead, founded in 1939, has been a leader in the design and development of valves, cylinders, and pneumatic components for the industrial automation market.  
 
The acquisition, finalized on September 12, 2007, reflects Bimba’s commitment to developing capabilities that address customer needs. According to Pat Ormsby, President of Bimba, “Mead’s business philosophy is very similar to ours and its products have a great reputation in the field. This acquisition reflects our long-term commitment to growth. We fully expect it to strengthen Bimba financially and complement our product offering.”

Mead will continue to operate in its present location. There are currently no plans to change its distribution channels.
